Chocolat
Chocolat is a small artisan chocolate workshop in Germany, where cocoa becomes confectionery by hand. You can picture rough beans arriving like wrinkled stones, then roasting, grinding and refining until they turn smooth, glossy and silky. The warm scent of cocoa reaches you before the finished chocolate comes into view.
Small batches guide the work, with temperature, texture and timing shaping every result. Truffles receive hand-rolled cocoa coatings, pralines hold cream and chocolate ganache, and bars are poured and set in front of you. Cocoa beans trace a long journey from hot, humid climates through hand harvesting, fermentation, sun-drying and ocean transport before reaching this workshop.
A well-tempered bar gives the clearest detail: break it, and it makes a clean, sharp snap. That sound reflects patient chocolate-making rather than hurried production.
