Carolus-Brunnen
カロルス噴水は、ドイツのフランクフルト、ザクセンハウゼン地区のヴェンデルス広場に立つ美術作品です。 フリッツ・ベーレが制作し、像はカール大帝を表しています。
この作品は、1928年に新しいマイン橋を飾る記念噴水として構想されました。 橋の計画は実現せず、塑像模型だけが残りました。
1965年、像は鉄で鋳造され、ザクセンハウゼンの醸造所管理棟前に設置されました。 1976年には、ヴェンデルス広場へ移されました。
噴水から水は流れず、土を入れた水盤では植物が育っています。 カロルス噴水は、ベーレの伝統的な造形とフランクフルトの芸術史を伝えます。
ベーレは画家、素描家、彫刻家として活動し、フランクフルトのシュテーデル美術学校で学びました。 この場所は車椅子で利用できます。
