Carolus-Brunnen
Carolus-Brunnen është një vepër arti në Frankfurt, e vendosur në Wendelsplatz, në lagjen Sachsenhausen. Statuja paraqet Karlin e Madh. Artisti Fritz Boehle e krijoi këtë figurë për një monument shatërvan, që fillimisht do të zbukuronte urën e re mbi Main. Projekti i vitit 1928 nuk u realizua, ndaj mbeti vetëm një model prej plastiline. Në vitin 1965, Binding-Brauerei e derdhi statujën në hekur dhe e vendosi pranë ndërtesës së saj administrative në Sachsenhausen. Në vitin 1976, vepra u zhvendos në Wendelsplatz, ku ndodhet sot.
Boehle lindi në vitin 1873 në Emmendingen dhe u transferua herët me familjen në Frankfurt. Ai studioi në Städelsches Kunstinstitut dhe u ndikua nga veprat e Albrecht Dürer. Edukimi i tij lidhet me pikturën, vizatimin dhe skulpturën, veçanërisht me paraqitjen e njerëzve, kafshëve dhe kuajve. Shatërvani nuk rrjedh më me ujë, ndërsa baseni mbushet me dhe dhe strehon bimë. Vepra i dha emrin edhe birrës së fortë Carolus të Binding-Brauerei. Vendi është i përshtatshëm për përdoruesit e karrigeve me rrota.
