Tantris

Tantris stands in Munich, Germany, as a fine-dining restaurant with a bold orange-and-black interior. Opened in 1971, it pairs a distinctive 1970s atmosphere with a striking walk-in glass wine cabinet.

Eckart Witzigmann and Heinz Winkler shaped its kitchen before Hans Haas led it from 1991 to 2020. Benjamin Chmura now creates dishes that balance textures and flavours with playful acidity. Evening menus offer six to eight courses, while lunch brings four to six.

An expert sommelier team guides the wine selection, and the dining room is known for attentive service. The bright colour scheme remains the detail you remember.
