Oratorio di San Ludovico
Oratorio di San Ludovico është një kishëz e vogël në Venecia, që daton nga shekulli XVI. Pamja e saj e përmbajtur lidhet me funksionin fillestar si pjesë e një institucioni bamirësie. Aty gjetën strehë dymbëdhjetë burra të moshuar, pa bashkëshorte dhe fëmijë, për të jetuar me dinjitet. Sot, kjo hapësirë ruan karakterin kishtar dhe mbetet pjesë e lagjes Dorsoduro.
Që nga viti 1996, Nuova Icona e përdor për ekspozita arti dhe veprimtari kulturore. Instalacione, video dhe performanca nga artistë si Nástio Mosquito dhe Jinny Yu e kanë sjellë këtu artin bashkëkohor. Veprat e Jinny Yu ndërthurin pamjen dhe tingullin, duke trajtuar migrimin dhe përvojën njerëzore. Gjatë Bienales së Venecias, hapësira ka pritur instalacione dhe performanca të lidhura me këtë ngjarje ndërkombëtare.
Një shembull i veçantë ishte One Million Years (Reading) i On Kawarës. Vullnetarë nga Italia dhe vende të tjera lexuan vëllime me data për një milion vjet të kaluarën dhe të ardhmen. Leximet iu kushtuan të gjithë atyre që kanë jetuar e vdekur, si edhe të fundit. Oratorioja bën pjesë në shtegun artistik San Trovaso–Zattere–IUAV, që lidh historinë veneciane me skenën e saj bashkëkohore.

myTuur është një aplikacion falas guidë qyteti. Turet e tij ndërtohen nga pika, dhe çdo pikë mban një histori që nis sapo arrin aty, për ta lexuar ose dëgjuar si të duash.
