Oratorio di San Ludovico
Oratorio di San Ludovico er en lille kirke i Venedig, hvor en enkel facade skiller sig ud fra byens prangende kirker. Bygningen ligger i Dorsoduro og går tilbage til det sekstende århundrede. Oprindeligt indgik den i en velgørende institution, der gav tolv ældre mænd uden hustru eller børn et hjem.
Siden 1996 har Nuova Icona brugt rummene til kunstudstillinger og kulturelle arrangementer. Den tidligere kirke huser også installationer og performances i forbindelse med Venedigbiennalen. I 2017 læste frivillige her fra On Kawaras værk One Million Years (Reading), som oplister datoer en million år bagud og fremad.
Video- og performanceværker af Nástio Mosquito og Jinny Yu har også fyldt stedet med samtidskunst. Yus installation forbandt billedkunst og lyd med temaer om migration og menneskelig erfaring. Som del af kunstvandringen San Trovaso–Zattere–IUAV forbinder stedet kirkehistorie, Dorsoduro og Venedigs levende kunstscene.
