Campo de San Basegio
Campo de San Basegio to wenecki plac publiczny, określany lokalnie włoskim słowem „campo”. Wenecja ma wiele takich placów w swoich dzielnicach. Campos tworzą codzienną przestrzeń spotkań, odpoczynku i zabawy pośród wąskich ulic oraz kanałów Wenecji. Ten plac należy do codziennego rytmu lokalnej społeczności. Wokół takich miejsc stoją budynki mieszkalne, małe sklepy, a czasem także kościoły lub inne budynki wspólnotowe. Campos dają Wenecji otwartą przestrzeń między zwartą zabudową.
Zamiast rozległej, reprezentacyjnej piazzy poznajesz tu typowy wenecki plac, związany z życiem najbliższej okolicy. Takie miejsca mogą oferować ławkę z widokiem na pobliski kanał. Campo de San Basegio otwiera drogę do poznawania Wenecji przez boczne uliczki, małe mosty i kanały.
