Campo de San Basegio
Campo de San Basegio je veřejné náměstí v Benátkách v Itálii. Místní označení campo popisuje typ veřejného prostoru, který patří ke každodennímu životu města.
Benátky mají několik městských částí a každá z nich nabízí vlastní campi. Tato náměstí bývají menší než slavné benátské piazzy. Často je obklopují obytné domy, malé obchody a někdy také kostely nebo jiné komunitní budovy.
Campo slouží jako místo setkávání místních i návštěvníků. Lidé zde mohou odpočívat, povídat si nebo sledovat dění kolem sebe. V podobných prostorech se objevují také malé bary s tradičními benátskými cicheti a lavičky poblíž kanálů.
V Benátkách, které tvoří úzké ulice, mosty a kanály, poskytuje campo otevřený prostor. Náměstí zároveň pomáhá číst městskou strukturu, protože spojuje okolní ulice s každodenním životem čtvrti.
Campo de San Basegio může být výchozím místem pro poznávání okolních zákoutí Benátek. Odtud vede cesta k postranním ulicím, malým mostům a kanálům. Každé campo získává vlastní charakter podle lidí a staveb, které ho obklopují. Tento prostor proto představuje konkrétní část benátského městského rytmu mimo nejrušnější turistická místa.
