MaximiliansForum
MaximiliansForum is a public contemporary art space beneath Maximilianstrasse, at the junction with Altstrading in central Munich. The 1,600-square-metre underpass surrounds you with installations, performances and large-scale media works, often bringing everyday objects into an artistic setting.
Built between 1968 and 1969 as part of Munich’s transport master plan, the space now supports exhibitions that connect art with social reflection and feminist critique. Artists including Veronika Veit and Erik Göngrich work across video, sculpture and installation, while the Open Artists Studio Foundation provides studios and technical facilities for creative collaboration.
Research labs, photo labs and 3D-printing labs add a practical edge to this underground venue. Sarajevo?

The myTuur app is free, and once you are standing at a spot its story starts by itself.
Spots like this one are the stops myTuur strings into tours through Munich. In the app, each story begins where you stand: walk up to a spot and it starts, read it on screen or listen as you go, then follow the route to the next one.
What is myTuur?
myTuur is a free city-guide app. Its tours are built from spots, and each spot carries a story that starts when you get there, to read or to listen to as you like.
