Points of View
Points of View is a bronze sculpture by British artist Tony Cragg at the junction of Larios and Strachan streets in central Málaga. Its aerodynamic silhouette creates a sense of movement beside the city’s busy urban life. The work became Cragg’s first sculpture permanently displayed in a public space in Spain. Málaga placed it within the Museum City initiative, which brings contemporary art into streets and other shared spaces.
The sculpture combines scientific precision with an energetic, shifting form characteristic of Cragg’s work. Its bronze surface and unusual outline invite you to view it from different angles as you cross the surrounding streets. The city’s contemporary art history also includes Cragg’s 2003 exhibition Signs of Life and his permanent work Messengers in Wood. The location is wheelchair accessible.
