Simon del Grillo
Simon del Grillo brings contemporary sculpture to Jesolo, with works shown in the towers of Piazza Drago. Marble and iron form symbolic shapes that explore love, innocence, fragility, and strength.
The artist was born in Conegliano Veneto and has lived or worked in Bologna, Milan, New York, Venice, and Jesolo. His sculptures have appeared at the Sanremo Festival, Bologna Motorshow, antiques exhibitions, and contemporary art fairs across Italy. Since the age of sixteen, he has organised more than two hundred art and entertainment events. His classical education and law degree from Bologna’s Alma Mater accompany a career as sculptor, critic, organiser, and gallery owner.
The exhibition The Sculptor of Love presents works shaped by cuts, contrasts, and personal symbolism. Some pieces from the New World series measure twenty-five, thirty, or fifty centimetres, while the accessible setting welcomes visitors with wheelchairs.

The myTuur app is free, and once you are standing at a spot its story starts by itself.
Spots like this one are the stops myTuur strings into tours through Jesolo. In the app, each story begins where you stand: walk up to a spot and it starts, read it on screen or listen as you go, then follow the route to the next one.
What is myTuur?
