FC St. Pauli - Museum

FC St. Pauli Museum occupies the ground floor of Millerntor Stadium’s eastern stand in Hamburg’s St. Pauli district. You see photographs, video interviews, historic shirts, football boots, documents, banners, posters and other memorabilia. Wheelchair access makes the exhibition spaces available to visitors with mobility needs.

KIEZBEBEN includes a life-size section of the former eastern stand and an outdoor manual scoreboard. A specially built street barricade recalls the occupied houses of Hafenstraße and their place in local history. Two illuminated Millerntor models, each built at a one-to-one-hundred scale, show the current stadium and its predecessor. The 1910 wine bar occupies the foyer, while volunteers serve wine during FC St. Pauli home games.

The permanent exhibition grew from a 2010 container display containing almost two thousand objects. The association founded in 2012 now preserves the club’s successes, failures and social history through exhibitions and archives. A converted sea freight container on Harald-Stender-Platz sells clothing and posters from the collection.

Spots like this one are the stops myTuur strings into tours through Hamburg. In the app, each story begins where you stand: walk up to a spot and it starts, read it on screen or listen as you go, then follow the route to the next one.

What is myTuur?

myTuur is a free city-guide app. Its tours are built from spots, and each spot carries a story that starts when you get there, to read or to listen to as you like.
