St. Vinzenz
St. Vinzenz stands in Segringen, part of Dinkelsbühl in Bavaria, as an Evangelical-Lutheran parish church and cultural heritage monument. Its unplastered Romanesque hall meets a western tower known as the Glockenhaus.
The tower’s lower floors belonged to a fortified church built between 1180 and 1220. A plastered half-timbered storey and pyramid roof were added in 1726. Inside, the eastern choir carries a cross-ribbed vault beside a flat-ceilinged nave. Rood-screen remains survive in the eastern corners, while a winged altar from 1450 to 1480 stands before the sacrament house. The transept holds an offertory box dating from around 1500.
Four bells hang in the tower’s bell chamber, though only one survived the Second World War. Friedrich Wilhelm Schilling replaced the other three in 1951. Jürgen Lutz’s 2004 organ adds sixteen registers, two manuals and a pedal to this layered interior.
