Hotel Würzburger Hof

Hotel Würzburger Hof occupies a historic building from 1908, where older architecture meets the comforts of a private hotel. Marble, wood, leather and chandeliers shape the interiors. Antique pieces stand beside contemporary design, while elegant colours give each room its own atmosphere. The central position places public transport, important sights and the main railway station within walking distance.

Since 2011, Sabine Unckell has managed the house with personal attention at its centre. Rooms and suites follow individual themes, including Balthasar Neumann, Röntgen, Mozart and the region’s wine culture. Modern furnishings make these distinctive spaces practical for today’s guests. The pedestrian-area setting allows luggage to be unloaded outside, with nearby parking available.

Some bathrooms remain small or unusually shaped, and upper areas may require stairs. These details preserve the feel of a lived-in historic house rather than a purpose-built hotel. The building still carries its original character, more than a century after its construction.
