GALERIA Würzburg
GALERIA Würzburg is a department store in Würzburg, Germany, with clothing, shoes, cosmetics and other everyday goods under one roof. Its familiar building remains a recognised point of reference in the surrounding streets. You can also find an accessible public toilet here, listed as a Nette Toilette.
The store continued operating after the GALERIA Karstadt Kaufhof group faced financial difficulties and closed several branches. That continuation preserved a shopping place familiar to employees and local customers. Traditional retail now shares the building with the official Würzburg Baskets fan shop. Jerseys, hoodies, caps and other accessories connect shopping with Würzburg’s basketball community.
Player appearances at the shop’s opening brought photographs, autographs and personal conversations into the department store. Team colours and fan clothing give the space a social role alongside its everyday retail function. The entrance leads into a changing interior where browsing, meeting and local sporting identity come together.

The myTuur app is free, and once you are standing at a spot its story starts by itself.
Spots like this one are the stops myTuur strings into tours through Würzburg. In the app, each story begins where you stand: walk up to a spot and it starts, read it on screen or listen as you go, then follow the route to the next one.
