St. Quirinius
St. Quirinius is a small place of worship in Germany, standing slightly above the surrounding ground at about 400 metres above sea level. Its plain structure rises only a little above a nearby path and fits the open rural landscape. Paths approach from a nearby village, while the building remains easy to see from the neighbouring road. It forms one of the first stops on a walking and cycling route linking St. Jakobus and St. Martin. The route extends across several dozen kilometres through open fields and small settlements. Here, a modest building offers a pause before the path continues through the surrounding countryside.
