Theater Atelier
Theater Atelier is a private chamber theatre in Stuttgart-Ost, founded in January 2014 by actor and director Vladislav Grakovskiy. Its intimate room seats around fifty people, bringing theatre, readings, visual art, dance and music close to the audience. A flexible stage shifts between proscenium and single-room arrangements for different performances.
Freelance professional actors form the ensemble, while about twelve productions rotate through the season. Around four premieres join guest performances by visiting artists and theatres. Since 2017, productions have also travelled to Samara, Stuttgart’s Russian partner city, for performances at Samarskaja Ploschad Theatre. Festival collaborations include Made in Stuttgart and Made in Germany.
House productions include adaptations of Dostoevsky’s The Idiot, Molière’s Don Juan and Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland. Performances and events take place in French, Ukrainian, Georgian, Spanish, Lingala, Uzbek, Russian and Italian. A theatre bar welcomes audiences before performances and during intervals.

The myTuur app is free, and once you are standing at a spot its story starts by itself.
Spots like this one are the stops myTuur strings into tours through Stuttgart. In the app, each story begins where you stand: walk up to a spot and it starts, read it on screen or listen as you go, then follow the route to the next one.
