Oberer Schlossgarten
Oberer Schlossgarten is a park in central Stuttgart, framed by landmarks that place nature beside contrasting architecture. The columned Staatstheater stands beside the glass-clad Landtag, which houses the state parliament.
The park forms part of a larger green space linking with Mittlerer Schlossgarten, creating a green corridor through the city. Locals and visitors come here to stroll or relax among the greenery.
Nearby, Neues Schloss on Schlossplatz brings a baroque palace into the setting, with architecture reminiscent of Versailles. Colonnades, glass, palace façades and trees meet within one Stuttgart landscape.
