Freibad Sillenbuch
Freibad Sillenbuch is a compact outdoor swimming pool in Stuttgart, with family facilities gathered around a sunbathing lawn. You can swim in a 292-square-metre multi-purpose pool, where two 25-metre lanes and starting blocks support both relaxed swimming and stroke practice.
Children have a six-square-metre pool with a baby area, while a separate 34-square-metre paddling pool keeps shallow-water play apart. The grounds also include table tennis, and a limited number of sun umbrellas can be borrowed free of charge during your visit. A pool lift and an almost barrier-free layout make the facilities accessible to more visitors.
Many locals arrive in bathrobes, giving the pool a distinctive neighbourhood atmosphere. Freibad Sillenbuch belongs to Stuttgarter Bäder, the city’s network of public indoor and outdoor pools.
