Église du Bon Pasteur
Église du Bon Pasteur stands in the expanding Cronenbourg district, France, as a twentieth-century Catholic church. Its elongated forms, flat-ended nave, and central cross create a distinctly modern façade. The building extends northward, with a gently sloping roof descending towards a broad, three-part porch.
Construction began in October 1975 after the congregation had spent years gathering in temporary barracks. Completed from prefabricated elements, the church became the first of its kind built in France. Trapezoidal windows interrupt the façade and bring generous light into the interior.
Dedicated to the Good Shepherd, the church expresses care through a practical modern design. Angled glass, simple walls, and echoing footsteps give the interior its most memorable details.
