Ferrocarril de Sóller (Estació de Sóller)

Ferrocarril de Sóller (Estació de Sóller) stands in Sóller, Mallorca, as an early twentieth-century station beside the Tramuntana mountains. Its historic building welcomes you to a town shaped by rail travel, citrus farming, and mountain scenery.

The railway began operating in 1912, linking Sóller with Palma and the port by vintage train and tram. Wooden carriages follow the Tramuntana route, with views across the valley known for its oranges and lemons. Inside, Sala Picasso and Sala Miró display works by Pablo Picasso and Joan Miró, artists connected with Sóller. From here, Sóller’s streets lead towards Plaça de sa Constitució, Església de Sant Bartomeu, and the modernist Can Prunera Museum.

La Tafona de Can Det preserves Mallorca’s olive-oil tradition through its working mill. Nearby, Ecovinyassa brings Sóller’s citrus orchards into view, with oranges and lemons growing in the valley.
