Adebors Näs
Adebors Näs is a landspit in Schwerin, reaching into the Schwerin Inner Lake beside a wet meadow. A wooden pier leads across the meadow and out over the water. Views open across the lake, with rain clouds often sharpening the landscape’s contrasts.
The protected area shelters its flora and fauna, including orchids known as Knabenkräuter. BUGA 2009 brought the wooden pier and platform into this lakeside setting. High water levels have required work to stabilise the platform, which stands above the lake.
The Franzosenweg provides access, while a walk from Schwerin Castle passes through castle gardens, rowing and sailing clubs, and a playground. From the pier, the wet meadow, open water, and Schwerin’s changing sky share one view.

The myTuur app is free, and once you are standing at a spot its story starts by itself.
Spots like this one are the stops myTuur strings into tours through Schwerin. In the app, each story begins where you stand: walk up to a spot and it starts, read it on screen or listen as you go, then follow the route to the next one.
What is myTuur?
myTuur is a free city-guide app. Its tours are built from spots, and each spot carries a story that starts when you get there, to read or to listen to as you like.
