356
356 in Schwangau brings you into a Bavarian road journey shaped by mountain roads, lakes and friendship. Three friends arrived in an older BMW E30 after crossing the Rhine and travelling through the Black Forest.
Rain darkened the narrow roads near Lake Constance, while mist hid parts of the mountains along the Alpenstraße. Sunshine later opened views towards blue glacial rivers, wooded valleys and the curving Sylvenstein Bridge. The route continued to Lake Königssee, where the landscape offered time to pause despite missing the boat. Munich formed the final destination, with the BMW Museum connecting the drive to engines, cars and Bavarian motoring culture. One detail stays especially vivid: the BMW reached more than two hundred kilometres per hour on the autobahn.
