Rīgas panorāma

Riga Panorama takes you onto the Riga Canal and the Daugava from a pier in Kronvalds Park. The departure point lies between the Congress Hall and Riga Freeport Authority building. From the water, Riga’s historic centre appears beside parks, markets, terminals, and broad river views. The route connects the Latvian National Opera, Bastejkalns, Stockmann, and Riga Central Market.

Beyond the canal, the Daugava opens towards Riga Castle, Riga Cathedral, and the Old Town towers. Zaķusala’s television tower rises across the river. Andrejosta and Riga Passenger Terminal add working waterfront scenes to the journey. Different boats suit small groups, larger gatherings, and private occasions such as birthdays or photo sessions.

Santana brings a wooden hull and an eco-friendly engine, while Samanta offers a modern design. Galaxy provides the largest boat option for this canal experience. Audio guides cover English, Latvian, Russian, German, French, Spanish, Finnish, and Polish. You can finish the ride with the city reflected in the river beneath the towers of the Old Town.

Spots like this one are the stops myTuur strings into tours through Riga. In the app, each story begins where you stand: walk up to a spot and it starts, read it on screen or listen as you go, then follow the route to the next one.

What is myTuur?
