Lindenpark

Lindenpark is a youth and family cultural centre in Potsdam-Babelsberg, with roots in the city’s cultural scene. Its programme includes concerts, parties, and family events. The site brings together a large event hall, an open-air stage, a skate park, and a playground. The youth house jwd also belongs to Lindenpark. Lindenpark has hosted cultural life since the 1960s, serving children, families, young people, and music audiences. A first building appeared here in 1897. The former excursion venue later included a restaurant hall, bowling alley, festival halls, and a concert hall. The hall extension from 1911 still hosts events. During the 1920s and 1930s, the site served as a film studio and premiere cinema for UFA. Later, Lindenpark became a platform for punk music. The venue connects national and international music with theatre, festivals, and activities for children and families. Lindenpark is wheelchair accessible for visitors on site. Its programme also includes parties and events for youth groups, alongside concerts and family-oriented cultural activities.
