Hôtel de Camondo
Hôtel de Camondo is a mansion in Paris’s eighth arrondissement, built in 1874 by architect Denis-Louis Destors for financier Abraham Behor de Camondo. Its façades and roof present a formal Parisian street presence, while later additions included annexes and a separate street-facing structure.
Isaac de Camondo sold the property to Gaston Menier in 1893, and it later housed Menier’s son, Gaston Georges Menier. A real-estate project threatened demolition in 1972, but historical-monument classification on 17 October 1977 helped preserve the exterior. The interior was redesigned in 2001, and Morgan Stanley’s Paris office occupied the building by 2005.

The myTuur app is free, and once you are standing at a spot its story starts by itself.
Spots like this one are the stops myTuur strings into tours through Paris. In the app, each story begins where you stand: walk up to a spot and it starts, read it on screen or listen as you go, then follow the route to the next one.
What is myTuur?
