Posada de s'Estorell

Posada de s'Estorell stands in Palma’s historic quarter, where medieval streets frame a building with Renaissance details. The Morei family built the residence before the s’Estorell family acquired it. The building served as the family residence until the early nineteenth century, retaining its name through that period. Its architecture combines a medieval plan with Renaissance features. Successive owners restored the building, preserving its façade while adapting the interior for contemporary residential life. The Pont i Vic development includes the restored property. Homes within the development look towards Palma’s old town and the nearby cathedral, linking private spaces with historic surroundings. Narrow, cobbled streets surround the historic building in Palma. Nearby landmarks include the cathedral, bishop’s gardens, convent, Arabic baths and Museo de Mallorca, all within the old quarter. The surrounding neighbourhood remains quiet and residential beside Palma’s lively centre. The building’s story also connects with s’Estorell estates, whose land supported olives, vines, cereals and legumes across Mallorca. Its courtyard pieces travelled overseas and were never reassembled.
