Pfarrhaus
Pfarrhaus stands on Baarer Straße in Wiesenbach, Bavaria, just east of the Catholic parish church of St. Markus. The two-storey neobaroque building rises beneath a gabled roof and forms part of the village’s protected architectural heritage.
Munich architect August Hock designed the former parsonage, which was built in 1911. A polygonal bay window, known as an Eckerker, projects from the façade and adds interior space, while a covered cornice follows the roofline. The gable end carries a Madonna relief, linking the building’s ornament to its religious setting.
That relief remains the clearest detail to look for beside St. Markus church.
