Théâtre des Oiseaux
Théâtre des Oiseaux sits in Nice’s old town, close to the Palais de Justice. Attached to the Bar des Oiseaux, it brings café life and live performance together in an intimate setting.
Noëlle Perna founded the theatre in 1999, before becoming widely known as Mado la Niçoise. Its programme centres on humour, with one-person shows, comedies, stand-up acts and boulevard theatre. Artists from the Nice region share the stage with established and emerging performers. The small room holds about fifty seats, keeping the audience close to every performance.
Children, teenagers and adults can learn acting through theatre workshops, while adults can continue with a master class. Dinner-show evenings can pair performances with meals from Chez Marcel or O’Morena. Private celebrations can also take place here, but the lasting detail remains those fifty seats gathered around a local stage.

The myTuur app is free, and once you are standing at a spot its story starts by itself.
Spots like this one are the stops myTuur strings into tours through Nice. In the app, each story begins where you stand: walk up to a spot and it starts, read it on screen or listen as you go, then follow the route to the next one.
What is myTuur?
myTuur is a free city-guide app. Its tours are built from spots, and each spot carries a story that starts when you get there, to read or to listen to as you like.
