Panorama Baie des Anges de la Tour Bellanda

Panorama Baie des Anges de la Tour Bellanda rises above Nice on Castle Hill, beside the Tour Bellanda. From this viewpoint, you look across the Baie des Anges, the Mediterranean, and the city’s curving coastline. The scene brings together beaches, the Promenade des Anglais, Vieux Nice, and the port farther along the shore. Narrow old-town streets and historic rooftops show how Nice meets the water below.

Castle Hill once held a fortress, demolished in the early eighteenth century before the site became a public park. Landscaped paths, gardens, trees, and benches now surround several overlooks across the hill. The late-nineteenth-century Cascade de la Colline du Château adds an artificial waterfall to the former military ground. Nearby, the Monument aux Morts, chapels, and gardens extend the walk beyond the panorama.

Stairs from the old town and an elevator from the hill’s base connect the park with the city below. The blue bay, Mediterranean horizon, and red rooftops create a distinctly recognizable view of Nice.
