Olympiaturm
Olympiaturm rises above Munich’s Olympic Park, where its 291-metre structure forms a striking landmark against the city skyline. Completed in 1968, the tower ranks among Germany’s tallest structures. At 190 metres, an observation platform opens wide views across Munich and towards the distant Alps, connecting the park below with the surrounding landscape. The elevated viewpoint gives you a clear panorama of the city’s buildings, open spaces, and mountain horizon.
A revolving restaurant occupies the 182-metre level, completing one full rotation every 53 minutes. Around 230 guests can dine while the room presents a changing 360-degree view. The building also operates as a broadcast tower, carrying radio and television services including Antenne Bayern and Klassik Radio. High-speed elevators carry visitors upward in approximately 30 seconds, turning the ascent into part of the experience.
From the observation levels, Munich spreads beneath you while the Alps mark the far horizon. The restaurant’s gradual movement keeps the view changing throughout a meal.

The myTuur app is free, and once you are standing at a spot its story starts by itself.
Spots like this one are the stops myTuur strings into tours through Munich. In the app, each story begins where you stand: walk up to a spot and it starts, read it on screen or listen as you go, then follow the route to the next one.
What is myTuur?
