Löwenbräukeller

Löwenbräukeller stands in Munich’s lively Maxvorstadt as a historic beer hall, restaurant, and event venue. Restored arched rooms and halls create a setting that joins Bavarian tradition with contemporary facilities.

The venue originated as part of the Löwenbräu Brewery, one of Germany’s oldest breweries. Bavarian dishes and beer specialities fill its dining spaces with local flavour. A light-filled ballroom provides space for galas, Bavarian evenings, corporate gatherings, and other events. Modern lighting, sound, and media technology support performances, dinners, and celebrations there.

After the Bürgerbräukeller became unusable following the 1939 assassination attempt on Adolf Hitler, anniversaries of the Beer Hall Putsch moved here. Wheelchair access adds a practical detail to this historic Munich landmark.
