BMW Welt
BMW Welt stands in Munich beside the Olympic Park and BMW headquarters, as a modern architectural landmark designed by COOP HIMMELB(L)AU. Its sweeping structure opened in 2007 after four years of construction.
Inside, the showroom presents BMW cars and motorcycles alongside Mini and Rolls-Royce models. The venue also combines car deliveries, events, shops selling branded merchandise, and dining with international and Bavarian cuisine. Wheelchair access makes the building easier to explore, while yoga classes and corporate gatherings add activity beyond the vehicles.
A glass-walled hall creates the most theatrical detail: a round platform lifts a newly delivered car from the lower levels to its waiting owner. The roof carries an 800-kilowatt solar power plant.

The myTuur app is free, and once you are standing at a spot its story starts by itself.
Spots like this one are the stops myTuur strings into tours through Munich. In the app, each story begins where you stand: walk up to a spot and it starts, read it on screen or listen as you go, then follow the route to the next one.
What is myTuur?
myTuur is a free city-guide app. Its tours are built from spots, and each spot carries a story that starts when you get there, to read or to listen to as you like.
