Pfretzschner student violin bow GB 278 belongs to Mittenwald’s long tradition of violin and bow making in Germany. The bow connects a student instrument with local workshop craftsmanship. At Geigenbau Leonhardt, violins, violas, cellos, bows and cases support musicians at different stages. The workshop also maintains instruments in quarter, seven-eighths and full sizes.
Its round pernambuco stick meets an ebony frog with a mother-of-pearl eye and silver fittings. A stamp reads “H R P Studio”.
