Parco Trotter
Parco Trotter lies in Milan’s Turro district, between Via Padova and Via Giacosa. Its 120,000 square metres combine mature trees, open paths, play areas, and two designated dog areas. Spruce, maple, birch, and oak shade routes through this substantial urban landscape.
A horse-racing track operated here under the Società Nazionale del Trotto from 1906 to 1922. Its former oval remains visible as the main pathway around the grounds. After racing moved to San Siro, Milan created Casa del Sole, a school for children at risk of tuberculosis. Swiss-chalet-style pavilions still express that open-air educational vision, with classrooms and dining spaces distributed among the trees.
School life continues among the greenery, with children representing about 24 nationalities and lessons held outdoors. The restored swimming pool now provides space for basketball and football. Around you, the old racing oval connects playgrounds, trees, historic pavilions, and everyday neighbourhood life.

The myTuur app is free, and once you are standing at a spot its story starts by itself.
Spots like this one are the stops myTuur strings into tours through Milan. In the app, each story begins where you stand: walk up to a spot and it starts, read it on screen or listen as you go, then follow the route to the next one.
What is myTuur?
myTuur is a free city-guide app. Its tours are built from spots, and each spot carries a story that starts when you get there, to read or to listen to as you like.
