Giardino Antonio Cederna

Giardino Antonio Cederna occupies a green corner of northwestern Milan, giving the urban landscape an open setting for a pause. Its 7,800 square metres create space for paths, lawns and planted areas. Established in 2000, the park later received dedication to journalist and environmentalist Antonio Cederna, who lived from 1921 to 1996.

A central plaza leads towards a fountain, while stabilised earth and natural stone paving shape the ground beneath your feet. Maples, white hornbeams and English oaks structure the planting. Flowering pear trees and Lombardy poplars add another layer, forming a varied canopy around the grassy areas and pergolas.

The lawns and pergolas create room for a quiet break or an unhurried walk through the planting. A dedicated playground gives children a defined place to play beside the greenery.
