ADI Design Museum
The ADI Design Museum stands in Milan’s Porta Volta district, inside a converted industrial building devoted to Italian and international design. A glass atrium fills the main gallery. Designed by Mara Servetto, Ico Migliore, and Italo Lupi, the building creates a design path between Via Ceresio and Via Bramante. It also connects the two streets through the gallery.
Founded in 2001, the museum houses the Compasso d’Oro collection, whose award began in 1954. More than 350 objects and works carry that distinction. Permanent and temporary exhibitions place these pieces within a wider programme of public talks, initiatives, and events about design. A cafeteria, bookshop, and meeting spaces extend the visit beyond the galleries. You can move from award-winning objects to the building’s own industrial setting, with the glass atrium as a striking link between both streets.

The myTuur app is free, and once you are standing at a spot its story starts by itself.
Spots like this one are the stops myTuur strings into tours through Milan. In the app, each story begins where you stand: walk up to a spot and it starts, read it on screen or listen as you go, then follow the route to the next one.
What is myTuur?
myTuur is a free city-guide app. Its tours are built from spots, and each spot carries a story that starts when you get there, to read or to listen to as you like.
