Reichshain
Reichshain is a four-and-a-half-hectare park in Memmingen, Bavaria, forming part of the city’s green belt. Paths, trees and open spaces create a quiet setting for walks, family outings and time outdoors. A playground gives children room to play while the surrounding greenery keeps the urban setting close.
Five outdoor fitness stations invite movement for different ages, with particular suitability for older visitors. They include a hip trainer, leg press, walker, rowing bench and parallel bars. Together, these stations support exercises for balance, strength and endurance in the fresh air. The Hans Link Foundation, managed by the city of Memmingen, supported their installation.
Reichshain also hosts Wallenstein Festival camps and equestrian games amid its green surroundings. The combination of a playground and parallel bars leaves a clear impression: recreation here spans childhood play, exercise and historic festivities.
