Utan titel
Utan titel is a compact bronze sculpture by Sivert Lindblom in Sweden, standing about 96 centimetres tall. Its dark surface catches light on raised planes and gathers shadow in small hollows. You can walk around the work at eye level, where smooth areas meet textures left by the casting process.
Lindblom cast this sculpture in 1959 and numbered it one of five. His open forms connect with minimalism and aspects of abstract expressionism, while seams and shifting patina preserve a quieter complexity. Weather and touch remain visible across the metal, and an indistinct founder’s stamp sits near the base. Gallery Wallner and the 1993 Lunds konsthall catalogue trace its passage into public view.
Look for the initials SL beside the cast number. A passerby’s shadow or a change in daylight can give the same bronze a different appearance.
