Spegeln
Spegeln is an independent cinema in Sweden, set behind a stone entrance beneath a warm neon sign. Inside, film posters, low light, coffee and popcorn shape a compact, welcoming foyer. Three rooms create different moods, from shared screenings with a crowd to intimate viewings focused on the screen.
The building began as a bank in the 1910s before Carl Axel Stoltz redesigned it as the Alcazar in 1934. In 1954, The Robe introduced CinemaScope to the town from this auditorium. Lennart Clemens modernised the interiors in 1971, and the cinema later continued as Camera before closing in 1995. Independent operators reopened it as Spegeln in 1998, bringing back the neon sign and a programme of restored classics, festival premieres, sing-alongs, quizzes and themed marathons. Bistro food can reach your auditorium seat, while the foyer offers coffee before screenings and a place to linger afterwards.

Spots like this one are the stops myTuur strings into tours through Malmö. In the app, each story begins where you stand: walk up to a spot and it starts, read it on screen or listen as you go, then follow the route to the next one.
