Muelle Uno
Muelle Uno stretches along Málaga’s port as an open-air shopping centre and marina beside the Mediterranean. Shops including Lacoste, Hugo Boss and Primor share the waterfront with restaurants and the Centro Pompidou. A megayacht marina adds polished boats to the view, while the Palmeral de las Sorpresas, Parque de Málaga and La Farola lie nearby. Wheelchair access makes the broad commercial area easier to explore.
The pier first took shape in the sixteenth century, when construction began under Philip II. Its first stone was laid on 1 January 1588, and repeated expansions reshaped the port over time. Under Charles III, trade with America opened and the walls separating Málaga from its harbour disappeared. The Chapel of the Port was dismantled and rebuilt stone by stone several times, while La Farola and Parque de Málaga appeared nearby during the nineteenth century. In 2011, the waterfront became a commercial area linking the port with the city, followed by the Centro Pompidou in 2015. The yacht marina was completed in 2022, leaving historic masonry, contemporary art and luxury boats together along one promenade.

The myTuur app is free, and once you are standing at a spot its story starts by itself.
Spots like this one are the stops myTuur strings into tours through Malaga. In the app, each story begins where you stand: walk up to a spot and it starts, read it on screen or listen as you go, then follow the route to the next one.
What is myTuur?
