Häslachwald

Häslachwald is a 53.6-hectare nature reserve in the Stuttgart region, stretching across Plieningen in Stuttgart and Kemnat in Ostfildern. Its woodland and surrounding habitats belong to the Körschtal and form part of the Filder landscape within the Swabian Keuper-Lias Land.

A varied habitat mosaic supports rare and protected plants and animals, giving this cultural landscape strong ecological value. Walking and cycling routes cross the reserve, with options for relaxed outings and more demanding hikes. The protected area also lies within the FFH area 7321-341 Filder, connecting its habitats to a wider conservation landscape.

Forty-five hectares lie in Plieningen, while 8.6 hectares belong to Ostfildern’s Kemnat district.

Spots like this one are the stops myTuur strings into tours through Kemnat. In the app, each story begins where you stand: walk up to a spot and it starts, read it on screen or listen as you go, then follow the route to the next one.
