Danza del mare
Danza del mare is a mural in Jesolo, Italy, where a woman dances beside waves that seem to carry her movement. Her figure almost merges with the sea, creating a visible link between the dancer’s body and the shoreline. Diego Mantagner, a street artist from Montebelluna, painted the scene with sky blue, deep ocean blue, and bright white foam.
The mural forms part of a Jesolo project that transformed three electrical cabins into public artworks. Sciabordio and Moto Ondoso complete the series, which explores the sea, dance, and energy through street art. Flowing wave lines surround the dancer and make the whole surface feel active. Public space becomes the setting for art connected to Jesolo’s coastal landscape.
Look closely at the white foam: it appears to shape the dancer’s clothing as she moves along the beach.
