Theater Kehrwieder
Theater Kehrwieder stands in the heart of Hamburg’s Speicherstadt, a historic warehouse district with brick architecture and waterways. Its setting places a contemporary theatre inside one of Hamburg’s most distinctive historic quarters.
Red velvet walls frame the main hall, where classic variety seating accommodates up to 320 guests. Gala dinners, award ceremonies, and presentations can all take place beneath the theatre lighting. A comprehensive sound system supports the room, while moving lights add flexibility for different occasions. An LED curtain backdrop provides a luminous stage surface behind the seating area.
The foyer extends the venue with a bar, lounge furniture, and standing cubes for receptions. It holds up to 200 people and includes a sound system for background music. LED light strips illuminate the space in different colours, creating a changing detail around the bar and lounge. Wheelchair accessibility makes both the theatre and its gathering spaces easier to use.

The myTuur app is free, and once you are standing at a spot its story starts by itself.
Spots like this one are the stops myTuur strings into tours through Hamburg. In the app, each story begins where you stand: walk up to a spot and it starts, read it on screen or listen as you go, then follow the route to the next one.
What is myTuur?
