Lohmühlenpark
Lohmühlenpark lies in Hamburg’s lively St. Georg district, close to the Alster and the main railway station. Open lawns create a quiet break from the surrounding city streets. Paths and entrances from every side make the park wheelchair accessible and easy to reach.
A redesign in 2003 and 2004 brought smaller playgrounds together around a spacious central area. Beach-volleyball courts sit beside lawns where you can pause between games. Farther south, a lit playing field and basketball court offer room for sport after dusk. Children find sand play areas with a climbing tower, zip line, large slide and spinning disc. A shower pipe provides a welcome splash on hot summer days.
A skate area, boules court and rentable playhouse add more ways to spend time outdoors. The memorable detail is the broad play space, where a zip line, lawns and beach volleyball share one urban setting.

The myTuur app is free, and once you are standing at a spot its story starts by itself.
Spots like this one are the stops myTuur strings into tours through Hamburg. In the app, each story begins where you stand: walk up to a spot and it starts, read it on screen or listen as you go, then follow the route to the next one.
What is myTuur?
myTuur is a free city-guide app. Its tours are built from spots, and each spot carries a story that starts when you get there, to read or to listen to as you like.
