Hansatheater

Hansatheater is a variety theatre in Hamburg’s St. Georg quarter, where you find a stage for music, dance, drama, and diverse performances. Its setting belongs to Hamburg’s lively arts scene, with shows that entertain audiences through changing acts and productions.

The theatre is known as a Verzehrtheater, so you can enjoy food and drink during performances. One notable production was Cabaret, directed by Ulrich Waller and Dania Hohmann, and set in the lively yet turbulent 1920s. Music, dance, and drama explore love, politics, and social change through the atmosphere of a Berlin nightclub.

That combination of table, stage, and performance gives the venue its distinctive character.
