Dieter Roth Museum
Dieter Roth Museum occupies a city villa in Hamburg, presenting the German-Swiss conceptual artist’s work alongside his personal archive. Rooms bring together printmaking, publishing, found objects, and materials that include rotting food. Roth’s varied techniques turn everyday things into sharp, often unsettling artistic experiments.
Dieter Roth created the archive as part of his own initiative, and the Dieter Roth Foundation has managed it since 1998. Guided tours led by independent art historians trace his artistic development and collaborations, including work with Daniel Spoerri. Roth viewed Fluxus critically, once describing the movement as a “club of the untalented.” The collection preserves that independent perspective through artworks, documents, and unusual materials.

The myTuur app is free, and once you are standing at a spot its story starts by itself.
Spots like this one are the stops myTuur strings into tours through Hamburg. In the app, each story begins where you stand: walk up to a spot and it starts, read it on screen or listen as you go, then follow the route to the next one.
What is myTuur?
