Glostorps kyrka

Glostorps kyrka stands in Sweden as a parish church shaped by medieval stonework and nineteenth-century rebuilding. Its squat, rough-hewn tower preserves the oldest visible part. The tower belongs to the original twelfth-century church, while the remaining structure follows William Klein’s nineteenth-century plans. Weathered masonry meets later walls and roofs.

Generations gathered here for baptisms, weddings, funerals, music and parish meetings. The churchyard carries names on gravestones and trees planted in memory. Choral groups, youth activities and pastoral meetings continue through nearby Oxie kyrka and the parish hall. Beneath the tower, medieval stone supports a later church and connects local families across centuries.
