Main Tower
Main Tower rises 200 metres above Frankfurt, with an antenna extending its height to 240 metres. Its fully glazed façade combines a cuboid with a cylinder, creating a distinctive silhouette in the city skyline.
Completed in 1999 after three years of construction, the skyscraper became Europe’s first high-rise with a fully glazed façade. Fifty-six floors rise above ground, while five underground levels support more than 50,000 square metres of office space. An observation deck at 187 metres opens across panoramic views of Frankfurt, although the tower itself disappears from that vantage point.
A fine-dining restaurant sits two floors above a fitness studio, while the Hessische Landesbank displays its art collection inside. Wheelchair access welcomes visitors, and 1,090 steps lead upwards for anyone choosing the stairs.

The myTuur app is free, and once you are standing at a spot its story starts by itself.
Spots like this one are the stops myTuur strings into tours through Frankfurt. In the app, each story begins where you stand: walk up to a spot and it starts, read it on screen or listen as you go, then follow the route to the next one.
What is myTuur?
myTuur is a free city-guide app. Its tours are built from spots, and each spot carries a story that starts when you get there, to read or to listen to as you like.
