Mercat Vell (Plaça de la Constitució) stands in the centre of Eivissa’s old town, surrounded by cafés, shops and the marina. The nineteenth-century market occupies a Greek-inspired building whose columns give it a distinctive presence among the surrounding streets.
For more than 150 years, farmers and vendors have brought produce, flowers and other goods here, turning the market into a meeting place as well as a place to shop.
